Last week the San Francisco/Northern California Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced nominees for the 44th Annual Northern California Emmy Awards.

I’m excited announce that the California Environmental Legacy Project’s 2-hour public television program Becoming California was nominated for four EMMY Awards, including Best Documentary Program!  It also received nominations in the categories of writing, photography and editing!

Kit Tyler, Producer and Director, together with Executive Producers Jim Baxter and Jeffrey White, Associate Producers Richard Tsai and Richard York, and Ron Chapple, aerial photographer, are named on the nomination.

Kit Tyler and Richard York were nominated for Best Writing. Kit was also nominated for Best Photography and Editing.
