Advanced Plant Ecology

Advanced Plant Ecology (Bio 214) is designed for graduate students and advanced standing undergraduates. The course covers contemporary concepts in plant ecology and emphasizes: 1) the major concepts and principles of plant ecology; 2) critical evaluation of primary literature; 3) field studies of plant populations and communities; and 4) hands-on quantitative methods. The material covered in the course and field techniques emphasized will be geared to suit student interests.
