Graduate Student Publishes Article in Ecological Restoration
Carolina Fonseca, a former graduate student in my lab, recently publish her Master’s thesis research in Ecological Restoration, a premiere peer review journal in the field. The title of the paper is “Patterns of Population Differentiation in Early Traits of Development in Elymus glaucus: Implications for Restoration.” It is co-authored by Erin Espeland, a Research Ecologist for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and myself as Carol’s Master’s degree advisor. Carol’s work advances understanding about how differentiation of plant populations can affect seedling success in restoration of native California plants. Her paper was published in the December 2014 issue of the journal.
